Liyang Wang received his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University in 2019. Prior to that, he obtained his M.Eng. from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and his B.E. from Beihang University. Before joining The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a Postdoctoral Fellow, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Baidu USA and a Senior R&D Engineer at COMAC Beijing Civil Aircraft Technology Research Institute. His research interests include autonomous systems, planning and control, reinforcement learning, End-to-End solutions, and robotics.
