On 21 August 2026, Prof. Weisong Wen participated in SCRI Retreat 2026 at the PolyU Shenzhen Technology and Innovation Research Institute (Futian). The retreat, hosted by Prof. SHI Wenzhong, brought researchers together to exchange ideas, strengthen collaboration, and discuss future research directions for the Otto Poon Charitable Foundation Smart Cities Research Institute (SCRI).

He shared TASLAB’s work on a multi-vehicle collaborative localization and mapping dataset. The presentation outlined future plans for synchronized multimodal data collection, collaborative benchmark tasks, comparisons between single-vehicle and collaborative methods, and expanded V2V/V2X data collection across diverse road, traffic, lighting, and weather conditions.
